White radish
- Contains the same rich minerals and vitamins as the red radish.
- Consists of a lot of water: shoots contain 90.07% water and vegetables 92.9% water.
- Has a mild and fresh flavour.
- Are crunchy green shoots of 2 to 3 cm.
How to germinate:
- Soak for 5 to 6 h.
- Required time to germinate: 4 to 6 days.
- Watering: 3 times a day at 16°C.
- Storage: 8 days in the refrigerator.
How to consume? Some examples:
- Mix the sprouts in different salads.
- As a vegetable: delicious when grated or sliced. The white radish does not have a reinforcing flavour like the red or black radish.
- The root of the white radish or the radish itself has a very mild taste and no pungent character.
- It can be consumed in large quantities.
- Is very easy to digest for those with sensitive stomachs.
