The Bokashi Bucket lets you recycle your food scraps right in your kitchen. The result is a rich material for the soil.
The Bokashi Bucket creates anaerobic fermentation of kitchen waste, with no odours and no flies! This alternative to compost allows you to recover food scraps and create a beneficial material for the soil. Stop wasting, recycle!

This starter kit contains 2 x 9.6 litre bins and a set of complementary accessories (pestle, sieve, measuring spoon, drain pan, instructions). Everything you need to start composting successfully with the Bokashi at home, at the office, at school or in your community. Please note that the Bokashi starter is sold separately and in bulk. You can also find it in the webshop.

1. Put your kitchen scraps in the bucket. For best results, cut them into 5 cm x 5 cm pieces.
2. Sprinkle a handful of Bokashi starter and pack the layer well.
3. Close the lid of the bucket tightly and repeat the operation.
4. Once full, leave the bucket to ferment for a further 2 weeks, with the lid tightly closed.
Every 2 days: Collect the juice resulting from fermentation using the tap, to prevent putrefaction (the quantity may vary depending on the waste).

What you can put in the bucket: fruit and vegetable waste (including lemons and bananas), leftovers from ready meals, cheese, fish, yoghurt, eggshells, small bones, bread, coffee grounds, tea bags, small quantities of tissues (kitchen paper), wilted flowers.
What you can't put in the bucket: vinegar, juice, milk, oil, water, large bones, ashes, animal droppings, common paper.
